I specialise in coloured pencil and traditional graphite (black and white) pencil drawings. These are extremely highly detailed, and I strive for photo-realism - paying attention to every millimetre, down to capturing each individual hair! The level of detail I can achieve depends on the quality of the reference photo my customers provide - the better the photo, the better the portrait. Please see the "photo guidelines" page to see my best tips and tricks for capturing the perfect photo.

I use only the very best quality fine art materials, ensuring your portrait will last a lifetime.

Sizing
Mini 6" x 6": A brand new introduction for 2022 are the minis! These measure 6" x 6" to fit an 8" x 8" frame and are an ideal little keepsake or gift idea. They are the perfect size to stand on a side table, whereas the larger sizes are designed to hang on a wall. These will be slightly less detailed than the larger sizes - the bigger the paper, the more room I have for those tiny details.

8" x 10": This is the most popular size option. Designed to fit an 11" x 14" frame, this is a substantial piece once complete with enough room for two subjects and a high level of detail.

11" x 14": The largest of my standard sizes, this is ideal for those of you with lots of furry friends that you would like to be drawn together in once piece! This size suits up to three subjects and will also be the most detailed.

Sketches
Completed in a mixture of charcoal and graphite, these are a slightly more loose and free style than my pencil portraits, whilst remaining very realistic.
Ideal if you prefer more of an artsy feel!
Please note sketches are only in black and white, not colour.

Graphite Pencil
A black and white graphite portrait is perfect if you prefer a traditional feel. Extremely highly detailed and realistic, I use a combination of light-fast graphite pencils and a mechanical pencil to capture those tiny hair strokes.

Coloured Pencil
Now by far the most popular option, my coloured pencil portraits are designed to be as true to life as possible, capturing every tone in your pet's fur for the most realistic finish alongside all of those tiny details.
